The Yoga Trail was established in Singapore in July 2008, beginning with physical Dynamic Yoga classes at various PA locations. With the onset of Covid-19, it pivoted to interactive online sessions via Zoom. Since then, classes have remained online, as practitioners enjoy the convenience and comfort of practising yoga at home in a supportive, interactive setting.
The yoga sessions focus on cultivating awareness through the application of myofascial techniques and attentive listening to the body’s cues. The practice aims to enhance body-mind coordination, build strength, and improve flexibility to better support daily functional activities. Beyond the mat, practitioners also enjoy meaningful connections, forging a strong sense of community through regular meet-ups outside the virtual classes..

Hi, I’m Mei, the yoga trainer
I began teaching yoga in 2008 after completing my International Diploma in Yoga Teaching in Singapore. Since then, I have continued to deepen my knowledge while actively teaching an average of 8–10 classes per week. Over the years, I have attained an Ashtanga Yoga Certification in Mysore (India), completed Ashtanga Teacher Training in Hong Kong, and earned a Teaching Certificate in Dr. Loren Fishman’s Method of Yoga for Osteoporosis in San Francisco (USA). From 2008 to 2019, I also attended annual Intensive Iyengar Yoga Trainings with Usha Devi in Rishikesh, India.
I have lived with Level 2 spondylolisthesis in my lumbar spine since young, which caused chronic back pain and sciatica nerve compression during my 15 years working in the aviation industry. Discovering yoga transformed my life, leading me on a dedicated journey to heal my back. Today, I view my spine’s imperfection as a blessing, as it gave me the chance to explore yoga in depth and apply it meaningfully in my own healing process.
Over the past 17 years, I’ve had the privilege of guiding practitioners from all walks of life, both locally and overseas. I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to learn from my students, consolidate those experiences, and share them to support others on their yoga journey. While I once conducted overseas yoga retreats, I now focus on regular classes that help practitioners stay consistent with their yoga practice and meet their evolving needs.
I warmly welcome anyone who is interested in practising yoga to enhance both mental and physical well-being. My yoga friends and I will be delighted to have you join us!
What my regular practitioner says….
Mei provides alternative instructions to accommodate my needs, which is really helpful when I was managing an existing injury. I was confident that I could continue to practise yoga under her guidance during my pregnancy. With regular practice, my mind is more connected to my body 🙂

Each yoga session resets our minds and bodies as we are taken through a series of exercises that helps us re-align our bodies, improve our posture and release tension that is caused by habitual actions. There is a certain sense of satisfaction after each session. 😀

Mei’s insightful understanding of anatomy has helped me appreciate the many intricacies of the body. She offers thoughtful alternatives during classes to accommodate different abilities, ensuring no one feels intimidated or discouraged. With her keen attention to details, she corrects our postures so we can gain the full benefits of each asana. Mei’s teaching not only reflects her expertise in yoga but also genuine care for her students’ growth and well being.
